Established in 1996 as the first college of Estonia’s oldest and largest university – University of Tartu (est. 1632), Pärnu College has grown to provide innovative programs and highly qualified courses that meet the current needs of society.  The main areas of research and training are regional economy and structural policy, tourism destination management and social services.

Diploma and Master studies in Tourism and Hotel Management and Tourism Geography are taught by the leading tourism experts in region and abroad.  Pärnu College will use its position as a part of the University of Tartu and its links with industry and institutions in neighbouring countries to disseminate information about the project and recruit new participants in the future.

The Pärnu College, University of Tartu, sat on the VocMat Management, Research & Development and Valorisation Groups and developed the new delivery mechanisms (model) and materials (modules) to be piloted alongside other members of the Research & Development Group.  Pärnu was responsible for the development of the Human Resources module.
